Continuing Professional Education Credits (CPEs & PDUs)
Certified Public Accountants CPEs
ManSims, Inc. is no longer registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. However, we were a sponsor while we provided our SOX workshops, and all attendees earned NASBA CPE credit. NASBA and its Regulatory Compliance Services division manages a certification program that provides accreditation of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) classwork and Continuing Education Providers that is accepted by the State Boards of 38 States (see below list) and the District of Columbia for CPAs to maintain active licenses. ManSims' Sarbanes-Oxley § 404 Compliance Workshop provided 24 CPE credits for all attendees.
The SOX § 404 Compliance Workshop was a Group-Live delivery method workshop that covered both Basic and Intermediate program levels, depending on your background (see Who Should Attend on the Sarbanes-Oxley § 404 Compliance Workshop page). There were no prerequisites and no advanced preparation was required. The 24 CPE credits were broken down into the following credits in each field:

Ethics - 2
Management - 7
Personal Development - 4
Specialized Knowledge and Application - 6
We had also submitted applications to other States that do not participate with the NASBA. As these certifications became effective, whichever State your certification is from, or where you practice in, our workshop will apply for CPE credits. Project Management Professionals PDUs
For all our courses we provide, through our partner vendor, Fissure Corporation, Professional Development Units (PDUs) for those Project Management Professionals or Professionals in Training. We continue to be a Registered Educational Provider (REP) Charter Member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
In fact, our Project Management Simulation Workshops are specifically designed to prepare anyone for gaining the coveted PMP certification. Our workshops are designed to provide participants with hands-on Project Management experience so that they actually learn how to perform project management effectively and not just know about Project Management. Taken together, our Basic and Advanced Project Management Simulation workshops cover all the crucial knowledge and tools required for PMI PMP certification. Participants actually develop their Project Management skills and knowledge in an integrated experience that helps them pass the certification test. A follow-on PMP Exam Preparation Workshop is also available through Fissure Corporation that gives participants the information they need to both apply for and prepare for the exam. ManSims identifies what you need to know to pass the exam the first time.
